Mini Interview |
|
| My first homebrew... | My first was a True Brew Maestro Nut Brown. Spilled a ton of wort on my kitchen floor, and managed to get some on the ceiling somehow, but had fun nonetheless. |
| Homebrewing Story... | I attempted brewing a dunkelweisse like one that I had while in Munich on business. I read the yeast description and it noted that it gives the beer clove and banana esthers. When the beer was ready to drink I couldn't notice the clove but the banana scent and flavor is as plain as day. Too bad I hate bananas. I named the beer "The Bavarian Banana Invation" and try to give it to people that can stomach bananas. |
| 3 favorite beers | Wachusett Nut Brown Ale Some Weisse beer I had in Munich Z Street Snow Fest |
| Why I homebrew... | My friend Chris recently started and got me interested. We both love to cook and homebrewing isn't a far cry from preparing a gourmet meal. |
| Brewing Accomplishments | My first beer, the nut brown, came out excelent and went in less than 2 weeks. I then did an excelent Heffewiesse, a not so excelent dunkleweisse, a blackberry wheat(still carbonating), and a Tremont IPA clone. Next up is another IPA, or a porter, then a nut brown. |
