Mini Interview |
|
| My first homebrew... | Some type of kit. I don't remember adding hops, so must've been a hopped extract. Fermented in a plastic bucket. All my friends liked it, so I kept doing it. |
| Homebrewing Story... | In 2005 I brewed I used my (then) new MT setup (blue cooler). The SS hose braid came off the drain I ended up transferring the hot liquor two ounces at a time from the MT using turkey baster, sucking and squirting wort into the kettle. Thankfully I had a friend helping and two basters so it only took us an hour! Hence, Two Baster Pale Ale. Oh, incidentally, hot-side aeration is a crock of shit. The beer was completely aerated and tasted awesome (was a Ruination clone). |
| 3 favorite beers | Arrogant Bastard (all Stone beers) Salvator Pliney the Elder |
| Why I homebrew... | Because my beer is better than any commercially made brew, it's fun and my friends love coming to my house for it. |
| Brewing Accomplishments | I was able to write off all my brewing equipment and ingredient costs last year as "marketing expense"! |
