| My first homebrew... | "My" first homebrew? or my first homebrew experience. A friend of mine found a 6 gal carboy in the basement of the house he was renting for his family and said "Man we can make beer with this!" Of course at the time I thought beer was only made by those magical beer wizards in Colorado and st. louis. He called me over one day and we brewed a 5 gal kit of oktoberfest from brewers best and it was one of the best feelings in the world. TO MAKE BEER. We were probably a funny site running around constantly, reading directions, checking the internet, sanitising our spoon we used to stir everytime we took it out of the brewpot. Anyway. It got me hooked. |
