Mini Interview |
|
| My first homebrew... | An attempt at a Porter ... I did not realize how long it would take to chill boiling wort down to a temp suitable for pitching the yeast. It was winter, so I put my fermentation bucket in a bank of snow overnight. Overall, the beer turned out pretty bad ... probably due to something getting into it while cooling. Needless to say a wort chiller was my next purchase. |
| Homebrewing Story... | No matter how long I have been at this, it seems that every batch I encounter some kind of crisis to overcome. Recently the hoseclamp gave way on my wort chiller, spraying water all over my garage. Every brew session is an adventure. |
| 3 favorite beers | The three in my kegs ... |
| Why I homebrew... | I like the control of putting a recipe together and predicting the outcome then being able to taste my results. |
| Brewing Accomplishments | Keeping the faith over the two-year period it took me to construct my 3-tier AG system. |
