Mini Interview |
|
| My first homebrew... | A kit brew, Scotch ale good but a little rough around the edges. |
| Homebrewing Story... | I had a 5 gallon plastic fermenter bucket blow it's lid due to contamination. This was at my brothers house so when I got back from a boundry waters canoe trip (BWCA), my sister in law ripped me a new one. Apparently it covered 2 walls and the ceiling. My brother had 2 German Sheppards at the time and I am guessing a hair floated into the wort unnoticed. Dogs and homebrewing don't mix. |
| 3 favorite beers | IPA, American Pale Ale, Imperial Stout - high gravity and heavily hopped. |
| Why I homebrew... | Not so much anymore. When I started, there were no good beers/ales in the liquor stores, just American piss water. In the last 10 -15 years, craft brews have exploded and hard to compete with these great beers (although I have some homebrewing friends that measure up - it's good to have friends! |
| Brewing Accomplishments | 60+ batches under my belt, numerous compliments and too many friends that were "in the neighborhood". |
