Mini Interview |
|
| My first homebrew... | My first homebrew was an American brown ale extract kit from Midwest Supplies. It actually turned out great; when it was fresh, I really liked the Fuggles hop notes. Got me hooked. |
| Homebrewing Story... | The second batch I ever made was where I should have stopped myself from being too adventuresome: brewing a pumpkin ale, with actual pumpkin. I bought a big pumpkin, cut it up, baked it for a while, and threw it in the boil (not sure at what point of the boil). THEN I read up on it here at TB. That was when I figured out that researching in more detail was probably worthwhile. It tasted okay for a while, but started to get funky after a month, so I drank it quickly. |
