| My first homebrew... | Thanks for reading my humble bio. My first brew was a Sam Boston Ale clone. It turned out well- balanced, smooth and delicious! My friends, who were skeptical at first, were soon very impressed! |
| Homebrewing Story... | The day I got home from the store, started brewing and realized that I had forgotten to buy yeast!!! I didn't plan on making a lambic!... but I let my brew stand on it's own without pitching yeast for days (the supply store was closed). I watched my carboy for a couple of days to find that a slow fermentation had begun on it's own. I pitched a packed of yeast asap and let the fermentation run it's course. The result was a sour, but potable ale. |

| Why I homebrew... | the patience and care that I've discovered that I have ...I love beer. I love being able to have fresh beer in styles that I enjoy. ...It's fun to have parties when I turn out a new batch. It's more fun than drinking the same brands all the time. |
| Brewing Accomplishments | I've been brewing for about a year so far. I've made some good ales, a mead, and gingerbeer. As soon as I can get the equipment together I look forward to going all-grain! |
