Mini Interview |
|
| My first homebrew... | Can't even remember. I went to grad school to study microbiology, so virtually everyone there brewed. It was great to have guys bring beer samples into the lab and run them on the chromatography equipment, then tell you the alcohol content of their beer in ppm. |
| Homebrewing Story... | I tried making the Ninkasi recipe from BYO magazine- from the world's oldest (Babylonian) beer recipe, using an open fermentation of date wine. Yuck. When I said it tasted like sauerkraut, my wife opened a can and we found it actually tasted WORSE. ugh. |
| 3 favorite beers | Hale's ESB Cream Ale (nitro) Ft. George Vortex IPA Bell's Oberon (I knew it as Solsun) |
| Why I homebrew... | It's fun to be able to drink your hobby. |
| Brewing Accomplishments | Making beer from my own homegrown hops |
