Mini Interview |
|
| My first homebrew... | A Brewer's Best Oktoberfest kit. Came out excellent...I was very pleased. It was better than Sam Adam's Oktoberfest. |
| Homebrewing Story... | My second batch was a mead I made for my wedding. I stupidly poured the boiling-hot must into the carboy, immediately causing it to crack. The crack was an inch long, down the side. It didn't break, though, so I successfully fermented in that carboy for a year. |
| 3 favorite beers | Three Floyd's Robert the Bruce Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald Ommegang Trappist |
| Why I homebrew... | I enjoy the alchemy, the mystery. I love the fact that I can take a pile of very un-beerlike ingredients and turn them into a fantastic, tasty beverage. |
| Brewing Accomplishments | Two meads, one for my wedding (which was so-so) and another in memory of my son (which was excellent.) An awesome Oktoberfest, a so-so Pumpkin Brown. A fantastic stout. |
