| My first homebrew... | I'd gone to the LHBS to get some wine yeast for a strawberry wine. I asked they "so, what's different for beer". He says, "you've got everything you need except the ingredients - what style beer do you like". I took home everything and did what he said.. Only problem - he didn't give me any advice on hops and how they work... So, I threw in a whole ounce for the one gallon batch I brewed... It was 10 bottles of good, but very bitter, beer. |
