| My first homebrew... | Cali Common extract kit from Northern Brewer. Evrything went smooth, no disasterous stories (sorry). I started in Jamuary and fermented in a semi-heated storage area, so femrentation temp was almost in the lager range. It tasted great, but almost too smooth for the style. |
| Homebrewing Story... | Boiling outside on a turkey burner for the first time ever. It was about -10 F and the evaporation rate was so high that I only got three gallons AFTER adding a gallon of make up water. Amazingly, I somehow hit my target gravity almost perfectly. |

| Brewing Accomplishments | Creating my own recipes really got me excited. Learning the different aspects of a style, reviewing multiple recipes, and then creating something slightly new from all the info is very fulfilling (well, assume it turns out good). |
