| My first homebrew... | John Bull Pils Lager ME. Tasted like it was made from syrup. |
| Homebrewing Story... | My first attempt at an all grain batch, I had my friend drop by to mentor me. Not having any equipment I used my large canning pot to mash in, maintained temp by using the oven, sparged through a mesh bag into a waiting platic container, then after cleaning out the canning pot, used it to boil. After all that it turned out to be one of the best beers I have made to date. Oh yeah, the funny part. we spent the time watching Stevie Ray Vaughn on video and eating my wifes spaghetti sauce that she had planned for dinner. OOPS! |
