Recipe Details
Tasting Notes Pretty well balanced, probably a touch on the malty side, but not cloying at all. Perfect session beer!
Awards Wont last that long.
Boil Volume 7.00 gallons
Boil Time 70 minutes
Batch Size 5.00 gallons
Yeast Wy 2278 (75% app. attenuation)
Primary Fermentation Plastic 14days @ 10c
Secondary Fermentation Plastic 30days @ 4c
Other Fermentation Plastic 6days @ 20c Diactyl rest
Procedure Mashed in at 65c for 1 hour. Batch sparged to 27 litres. Boiled 10 mins for hot break, then added hops for 60. Cooled to 14c then pitched yeast. Dropped fridge to 10c. Also, FWH .6oz Tettnanger ( not included in calcs ). IBU's are 39 by beertool's calc's, not 48.
