Description
Big malty red with plenty of back end hops for an interesting tasting beer. Inspired by Alesmith Evil Dead. Would fit fairly well in the new double red category, IMO, but that's not on the list here :P

Recipe Details
Tasting Notes Sweet, caramel, malty base with tangy citrus hops coming out the back. Big enough to put a dent in you, but tasty enough to ignore it until it's too late. This beer will skunk with 30 seconds of direct exposure to sunlight :)

Boil Time 60 minutes
Batch Size 5.00 gallons
Yeast 1056 or 001 (75% app. attenuation)
Primary Fermentation glass, 7 days
Secondary Fermentation glass, 21-30 days

Procedure Mash however you like. I do a single infusion at 155 for 60 minutes. Add extract, bring to boil, add half ounce of centennial and start the 60 minute timer. Do the rest as appropriate for your system. Ferment as above (or more, no worries) and drink! Just be careful giving it to friends... your backyard could look like Jonestown if you're not careful.
