Description
A light red/purple beer with a pure white foamy head. Light on hops and very easy to drink. Adapted from a recipe called American LagerNot.

Recipe Details
Tasting Notes Nice and sweet, the berries really come through. Could use less berries and come out fine.

Yeast Essex liquid ale yeast (75% app. attenuation)

Procedure Take 2 gallons water to 155 and steep grains for 30 minutes, Rinse with a gallon 170 degree water. Add Extract and honey, bring to boil and add hops to schedule. Pitch liquid yeast after wort is between 70 and 75 degrees. After primary fermentation transfer to bucket with berries. Drinkable at 7 days secondary but really tastes better at 10 to 14 days. Make sure not to puree the berries since it is hard to transfer off the puree.
