Inspired by a local brewshop recipe, my first concoction

Recipe Details
Tasting Notes Good head, slightly red. Nice clean bitters taste with no appreciable bad aftertaste...hint of sweetness. ABV is actually 2.5% and SRM closer to 6.5

Yeast WLP005 (75% app. attenuation)
Primary Fermentation Plastic, 7 days
Secondary Fermentation Glass, two weeks
Other Fermentation Bottle, 3 weeks
Procedure Steep specialty grains in 2 gallons of water (starting temp 170) for 45 minutes. Drain and remove. Relight fire and bring to boiling adding extract. Dilute to 6.5 gallons and bring total volume to a nice rolling boil. Add Fuggles. With 15 minutes left in the (60 minute total) boil, insert wort chiller and add a whirlfloc tab. Complete boil and add Goldings as you shut off the fire.
