Description
An IPA- Illinois Pale Ale, that is. This was my 4th all grain attempt and it turned out quite nice. Nice aroma and good balance but still pretty hoppy.

Recipe Details
Tasting Notes Nice malt/hop balance. Good mouth feel and nice citrus hop aroma and taste.
Awards not into the competition thing.
Boil Volume 6.50 gallons
Boil Time 60 minutes
Batch Size 5.50 gallons
Yeast WLP 001 California Yeast with starter (75% app. attenuation)
Primary Fermentation glass, 8 days
Secondary Fermentation glass, 16 days
Other Fermentation
Procedure Heated strike water (approx- 4.5 gals) to 175 added grain and mashed at 155 for 1 hour. Sparged with 4 gals at 170
