Busy day on Sunday... With some help from my brother -- brewed "Instant Evil Oatmeal Stout", kegged my Caramel Porter and got a batch of Cider rolling with sweet mead yeast... Also put a few chickens in the smoker... And all this was done by 2PM!!! Gotta love daylight savings time!!! |

Finally got some time to set up the gear and brew at the new house. I picked up a 170,000 BTU propane burner and I don't know how I ever got by without one! The neighbors asked if we were having a cookout -- cooler, outdoor burner, huge friggin' pot of steaming liquid... Nope. It's back to brewing time! Brewed a nice Cascadey APA with my homegrown Cascades in at the end for some aroma. They joined the other 5 ounces very nicely Next week -- Brutal Bitter clone... WOO-HOO!!!!! |

Denny -- I'm drinkin' one for Milo right now!!! 19 1/2 is quite a full life for a cat... My heartfelt condolences to you and yours. Well... Finally moved in to the new digs. First house, and we're loving every migraine inducing minute of remodeling!!! We're in the historic Parkside district of Buffalo, and right around the corner from Frank Lloyd Wright's Darwin D. Martin house. Pretty cool... Now to get the brewery up and running |
