I've brewed the most that I have in probably a year or so over the last few weekends, which still isn't as much as I'd like to. Two very good friends of mine are due to be fininshing the Appalachian trail next week after starting in March, and I promised them some full kegs would be waiting when they returned. I was pleasantly surprised last week when I decided to check the 2+ year old carboy of Cider that has been sitting in a corner covered with dust, having a completely dried out airlock, and a thin film of some mold like something-or-other floating on top. I was getting ready to dump, when I took a sample just in case... Pretty freakin' tasty!!! It's in a keg as I type. Doing a quick extract Raspberry Wheat Ruby clone tomorrow -- just don't have the extra time this weekend to mash. An hour and a half and I'll be done. Cheers... |
