Kegged two beers two nites ago. One is a wheat stout, basic stout with 1/2 the 2 row replaced with wheat. Tasted it going into the keg and it seemed to have a astringent/tanin aftertaste, have to leave in the fridge for a bit and see how it turns out. Also kegged an sour orange honey, that tastes great so far. Hops sprouts are coming out of the ground, both nugget and willamette are up, still waiting on the cascade. I also just had a birthday, and I got a barley crusher! Now to start stocking up on the grains..... |
