MMMMMMM... Right now I'm quaffing the pale ale I kegged this weekend - yummy. I usually end up checking Tastybrew at work, but it's much nicer to have a pint or two at home while I read the recent posts.
I'm in the midst of planning my next brew, which will be Denny's now famous RyePA. If it works out on schedule, it will be the fifth brew on tap for a barbecue in August...excellent, Mr. Smithers... Other features will be the pale ale I'm drinking right now (if it makes it that long), an amber I have in secondary right now, a raspberry stout, and a cider from last fall that I finally kegged about a month ago (also yummy). As I was changing the beer lines, a little stout got into my cider, and I found that the raspberry stout and the cider actually mix quite well together for a homemade snakebite. Anyone else ever blend their own brews at home? |

Busy day today... I brewed an American Amber in the shortest time it has ever taken me since I switched to all grain. From initial setup to finishing cleanup was almost exactly 4 hours. I was quite pleased, as it usually takes me longer (to clean up anyway). While I was mashing, I kegged 5 gal of my house pale ale - can't wait to cool it down and carbonate. After all that it was time to enjoy the day and take my daughter to the park (although my wife didn't get the four hour reprieve, but she got a little time back). What a great day |

My wife took me to the NWSource.com Brewfest at St. Edmund State Park on Lake Washington yesterday. What a great Father's Day present. Got to taste a lot of great micros from the Puget Sound area and beyond. Can't wait for next Father's Day |

Rob-
When did you start using the Search via Google? I like it. It seems to isolate better search results. Thanks. Keep up the good work. |
