Just finished my 4th all grain brew yesterday. Everything went according to plan. I am finding that the all grain brewing is much more relaxing and enjoyable than when I did extract. And of course the quality of the beer is outstanding! I entered my first homebrew competition today as well. My IPA seems to me to be a good one, so, what the heck. Time to find out how it stands up to some scrutiny! Next week I'll brew another batch and put it onto the yeast cake from yesterday's brew...unless of course I suspect something awry with the fermentation. Man....I need more corny kegs so I can start stacking up the beer a little. I'm finding 2 kegs is NOT enough! |
