Teri and I got married this last weekend. We had a little party the day before the wedding where about a third of the people there were homebrewers. I had three of my beers on tap. Some of the other brewers brought beers too. All totaled, there were 10 beers and 1 mead on tap as well as several bottled beers. It turned out to be a great party, great beer and great people. Our wedding day turned out fantastic too. We are so lucky to have such great friends and family.

My fiancee Teri has been my apprentice brewer for the last six years. She has gone solo four times. Recently she brewed a Classic American Pilsner which she entered in the Oregon Homebrew Festival. She won a first place ribbon with her first ever competition entry. I am both proud and envois.

My CO2 gas system sprang a leak and drained out the whole canister. I found a loose connection and tightened it. Today, I noticed that the system is still leaking. After almost tearing the whole system apart, I finally found the source of the leak. The 3 way manifold developed a small crack in the housing. It is the nickel plated type. Well. it is 10 years old. Guess it's due for replacement.

Our taps have run empty. The last of our California brewed beer has flowed from our system. Now I can clean, dismantle and pack it all up. In about 8 weeks, beer should again be flowing, with Oregon brewed beer!
We had a beer tasting some of our old brew club buddies a few days ago. Kind of a final hurrah before we leave. Here is the list of beers we tasted that evening.
