Hey folks, i just found some hops in my freezer and was just wondering if this comb would make a great IPA. I found 1 oz of Chinook, 2 oz's of hallertauer, and 2 oz of Cascade. Would this be a great combination of a really good IPA. Any suggestions as to what grains I can use. Also do hops lose flavour or get freezer burn. Truth be told I don't recall when I got these hops. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yeah, although hops can stay good for aq long tie in the freezer, it all depends on how they're packaged. If they're well vacuum sealed, than a couple years might be OK. If they're not, 6 months would be my limit for them. Hallertauer is pretty unusual for an IPA, but I guess you could use them. Chinook and Cascade are classics for a PNW style IPA. Grist wise, shoot for an OG of maybe 1.060-65. Use 95% pale malt and 5% crystal, anything from 20L-60L.
