Ok, I made the beer from the recipe "your dentists worst nightmare" Basicsly it's a IPA / barleywine its about 11 % abv it has 13 ounces of hops in it and about 2 pounds of honey. My question is this...... What would you use to carbonate it? corn sugar or DME? maybe 50/50 mix?

The same as corn sugar. You won't know the difference.

Well, I guess the first reason is it's available in your cupboard. Secondly, fermentable sugars are fermentable sugars, and it doesn't get much closer to the purest source than table sugar.IMHO

None of the above, I'd force carbonate it. I've had spotty results sugar carbing big brews. Just saying.

But if you must do the sugar thing.... table sugar is cheaper and works great. BB is correct.

depending on your yeast strain and how long you age it, you might want to re-yeast as well. I like to use saflager for this purpose usually. It is clean and works well. I usually use corn sugar to prime, but table works fine too.

Table sugar, furthermore I would dry hop it the week before you bottle it or hop it in the keg.
