I think I fugured out how I ruined my last batch (funny taste and over carbed) I realized while I was transfering and bottling the bucket was under A.C vent blowing down, must have picked up a hitchhiker, after a couple weekes in the fridge it not as bad as it was, but I wont expect any miracles.

DOH! Yea I only bottle in my "sterile room" All I do is close my vent in the room its in and make sure my dog stays out... I just vacuum and wipe everything down first to make sure there is not any dust floating around... works great..

What were you bottling? If it was a pilsner, then you may get some weird aftertastes prior to lagering it for a few weeks.
