I'd love to do a belgian blonde also. (No joke intended here....) I like leffe but I prefer affligem blonde even more. I haven't been able to find a decent leffe blonde online, but I'm sure you'll get a good one. To me its a pretty straightforward style, mostly pilsner malt and maybe just a touch of munich for character. Light hopping and let that yeast shine! Oh and some simple sugars of course. I love how dry and refreshing blondes, trippels, and strong goldens are!

My Belgian Blonde (starter for a tripel) is Pils malt (85%), sugar (15%) hopped to about 20IBUs with 3787... Nice starter for any belgian beer (slightly pui) !

Yep, looking at my notes I had 84% pils and 16% cane or beet sugar planned. Some hallertau or saaz would work, and I think mine was 25 ibus. As long as you can get a small amount of esters out of the yeast and finish it dry, it will be great. I planned to make a starter out of my yeast too, but went straight to the trippel instead.

im just gonna use regular cane sugar. haller, and pale malt. i would have gone with either haller or EKG.

for some reason i think Innis and Gunn's blonde just tastes like oaky leffe. which is what i want to try.
