In bottle 10 days. 2 cans of Munton's dark extract boiled 60 minutes. 1 oz Whitbread Goldings hops, 1 lb blueberries steeped 30 minutes.
Still has a way to go. A little more bitter than I was expecting but by no means unpleasant. I think time will help tremendously. I did sample it pretty quickly.

It's mellowing a little every day it seems. I've been tasting it about once every 2-3 days and every day it seems a little better. I knew it was early when I first gave it a taste but curiosity always gets the better of me. Still has a bit of bitterness but it's not off-putting at all.

thats a long steep for blueberries next time try steeping only five minute nd leave it in your primary then rack onto and equal amount to give additional aroma and a bit more flavor.. steeping too long destroys alot of the fruit flavors that you are looking to attain..

When you do these kind of fruit/berry beers are you supposed to take the skin off the fruit?

it is best to freeze them, you don't need to remove the skins. Freezing breaks down the cell walls and the ferment better.
