Brew day coming up this week. I have a belgian tripel and IPA resting in bottles and would like to get a darker flavor going to have another choice in the spring. Thinking about a dark ale but with a belgian yeast. Ideas/recipes/warnings?
Or maybe a nice crisp ale to be ready at the end of the month. Only brewing a year, keep it simple

Look up Belgian Dark Strong Ale. Should be just what you're looking for. A dubbel would also satisy that darkness you desire. I'm not near my comp or I'd post some recipes...

Its my day off so I am going to pick up a few more Leffe Brunes. I really liked them. Gotta lay off the beer because of the diet but its something to work towards.
