Thinking of upgrading my primary (simple 5 gallon plastic bucket) to something better - any suggestions ?
Also, i use a glass carboy as my secondary - I have seen other options like Better Bottle plastic carboy ...
Any thoughts on either ?

Buckets rock. I'd stay with buckets unless you are wanting to do really large batches. Then again plastic 55g water barrels have caught my eye lately.
Many threads on this topic here.
I am in the camp that glass is not an upgrade.

Dude, buckets rock... They don't break, easy to clean, light weight...
I have bottling spigots installed in my primaries. This way I can drain without a siphon straight to the keg outlet.
