I did an IPA experiment where I filled three 1 gallon jugs with different single hop beers. I don't really have a racking cane immediately available that works with a one gallon jug? Would I adversely effect the beer if poured straight into the bottling bucket and drink it within the next 2 weeks? Or does oxidation take effect immediately? What do you guys think? Should I run out and buy a racking cane or will I consume it quick enough before oxidation begins effecting the beer?

i don't think oxydation occurs imediately but what you can do is take a length of tubing and use that as a siphon. Just put the tubing into the jug and then start the siphon, no racking cane needed.

I've done this too. Do you have an auto siphon? I used that to pump it out.
