Northern Brewer indicates "4 ounces in 5 gallons adds 16 SRM of color".
Weyermann web site shows the color to be "3040 - 3200 Lovibond".
How can I use this information to add Sinamar to Promash? The Lovibond setting in Promash only goes up to 2500.
I was thinking of setting the Lovibond at 1500, then double it in the recipe knowing that it will actually be half. If that made any sense. Or, is setting it at 2500 Lovibond be close enough?
Thanks

If it was me, I would set it at 1500 and name it "Half-Sinamar" or something like that to remind myself.

I set it to something that seems fairly accurate, but I'll have to look in Promash to see what it is. But truthfully, it doesn't matter much to me. I never use a measured amount. I just add it a bit at a time til I get the color I want.
