Hey all,

For those of you in the Roseburg, OR area there will be a "microbrew walkabout" at "Wildlife Safari" in Winston (just south of Roseburg). The microbrew walkabout will be replacing the wine walk of years past. The event is on June 7th.
The woman setting it up said she could use some help finding microbreweries willing to commit to the event. As far as details she hasn't given me any yet, but if your in the business or know anyone who is it would be great to get involved in the event. She also mentioned that she might want some local brew clubs to brew a batch of beer for it also, so if your in a club you might want to mention this at your next meeting.
If you've never been to Wildlife Safari it is a pretty cool place and is a nice place to walk around check out all of the different animals and have a brew. Sorry I don't have any more details at this time, but as soon as she gives me some info I will post something new. Also if I get any responses on the fourm I will try and contact her with the news.

Is Ross and Walkabout Brewery doing anything with this?
There are several Eugene breweries that I would think would be up for somethinglike this. Also, when you find out more info, let me know. I'll see if our club, Cascade Brewers Society, would be interested in stepping up. You can contact me via email. It's in my profile.

Bummer...June 7 is the same day as the Sasquatch brewfest here in Eugene. Guess there won't be many of us at the Walkabout...too bad, sounds like a fun event.
