I'm sipping on this beer right now. It's a very good PNW style winter beer. Good hop character and nice malt body. Just a tad too roasty for my tastes but it's definitely my favorite keg in my kegerator right now. Give it a try! |

The amounts are all off compared to the efficiency and OG. If you brew it with that grist bill and efficiency, you'll end up over 1.100! I even went back and checked my notebook, but it's written down incorrectly there, too. I'll figure out what happened and repost when Rob gets the recipe section working again. Thanks for the reminder, though,,,it's time to brew up another batch! |

Just by looking at the grain bill and hops believe he may of meant 15 gallon batch vice 5. |

I brewed a batch of this on 12/31/05. Just compared it to the 2005 Snow Cap. It is indeed darker and roaster then SC. I did have a small problem with my batch in that even after 5 weeks of fermentation, it would not drop below 1.030 |
