Comments
This recipe was designed to be 'strong enough for a man, made a woman.' MY wife had tasted a very good stout at a local brewpub and wanted something with some sweetness & chocolate/coffee tones without being heavily hopped. With a lot of help, I made Skwerl Stout to fit that bill. I have enjoyed a great deal, it has fit my wife's tastes well, and has converted several guests who said they 'don't like Guinness.' This will definitely be made again, although I intend to add flaked barley to it next time for my first shot at partial mash.
